TideSwap ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use the TideSwap interface at tideswap.app ("the Interface").
Wallet Addresses: When you connect your wallet, we receive your public wallet address. This is necessary to facilitate transactions. We do not have access to your private keys or seed phrases.
Transaction Data: All transactions are recorded on public blockchains and are not private. We may use on-chain data to improve our services.
Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, features used, device type, and browser type through analytics services. This data does not personally identify you.
We do NOT collect: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, IP addresses (we do not log IPs), or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., contacting support).
We use the information we collect to: provide and improve the Interface; route transactions through the 0x API and other third-party protocols; display your token balances and portfolio; monitor for bugs and technical issues; and comply with applicable legal requirements.
The Interface integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies:
• 0x API — for swap routing and price quotes
• LI.FI — for cross-chain bridging
• CoinGecko — for token prices and logos
• DefiLlama — for yield data
• WalletConnect / RainbowKit — for wallet connections
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services. We are not responsible for their data practices.
The Interface may use essential cookies for functionality (such as remembering your connected wallet). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect the Interface. However, no system is completely secure. As a decentralized application, most data exists on public blockchains and is inherently transparent. We do not store sensitive personal data on our servers.
We retain analytics data for a reasonable period to improve the Interface. On-chain transaction data is permanent and cannot be deleted as it exists on public blockchains.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you; opt out of analytics collection; and withdraw consent for data processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@tideswap.app.
The Interface is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Interface constitutes acceptance of any changes.
