Terms of Use

Last updated: February 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TideSwap ("the Interface"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Interface. The Interface provides access to decentralized exchange protocols on the Ink blockchain. TideSwap does not custody, control, or execute any transactions — all trades are executed by smart contracts on the blockchain.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Interface complies with all applicable laws and regulations. The Interface is not available to persons or entities subject to sanctions or located in jurisdictions where access to decentralized finance protocols is prohibited.

3. Nature of the Interface

TideSwap is a frontend interface that enables users to interact with decentralized protocols, including the 0x Swap API for trade routing and the LI.FI protocol for cross-chain bridging. TideSwap does not operate a centralized exchange, hold custody of any assets, or act as a counterparty to any transaction. All transactions are peer-to-peer and executed through smart contracts deployed on public blockchains.

4. No Financial Advice

Nothing on the Interface constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Token prices displayed are provided by third-party APIs and may not be accurate. You are solely responsible for evaluating the risks of any transaction, including but not limited to smart contract risk, price impact, slippage, and impermanent loss.

5. Fees

TideSwap charges a 0.15% fee on swap transactions routed through the 0x API. This fee is transparently applied and included in the quoted price. Additional network (gas) fees are paid to blockchain validators and are not collected by TideSwap. Third-party protocols accessed through the Interface (such as LI.FI bridge) may charge their own separate fees.

6. Risks

Using decentralized protocols involves significant risks, including but not limited to: loss of funds due to smart contract bugs or exploits; price volatility and slippage; blockchain network congestion or failure; bridge failures or delays; regulatory changes; and loss of access to your wallet or private keys. You acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that TideSwap is not liable for any losses.

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Interface for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to: money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, market manipulation, or any activity that violates applicable laws. You may not attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Interface or any connected protocols.

8. Intellectual Property

The TideSwap name, logo, and Interface design are the property of TideSwap. The underlying smart contracts and protocols accessed through the Interface are open-source and governed by their respective licenses. You may not use the TideSwap brand or trademarks without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

THE INTERFACE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIDESWAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE INTERFACE.

10. Modifications

TideSwap reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Interface after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
